The events sponsored by the Fitness Program are geared toward all of the employees in the building. The events typically occur on an annual basis and allow the Federal Center work force the opportunity to show their enthusiasm out in the community.
Cereal City Corporate Cup (CCCC) is an annual community-wide event in which local businesses and organizations compete against each other in a variety of sport/fitness events. The CCCC usually takes place the third weekend in September. If you are interested in participating please use the attached link to fill out the participant registration form.

Federal Employee Fitness Day - The Third Wednesday in May
The Presidents Council on Physical Fitness and Sports has declared the third Wednesday in May Federal Employee Fitness Day. The council encourages all federal agencies to implement a promotional event that encourages physical activity among federal employees. The Fitness Program organizes a 1-mile walk, a 5K walk, and a 5K run. The events start promptly at 12:00pm and conclude at 1:00pm. The streets surrounding the perimeter of the Federal Center will be the course for the 1-mile walk. Linear paths and applicable streets will be used as the course for both the 5K walk and 5K run. Maps of the courses are available below and in the fitness center. Departure location for all events is the Champion Street entrance. All participating employees receive a participation award at the conclusion of the event. Come out and participate!
1 Mile and 5K Course Maps
The Combined Fedeal Campaign (CFC) Run/Walk event consists of a 1-mile walk, a 5k walk, and a 5k run and is sponsored by the Quality Of Life (QOL) Program. The event takes place in October beginning at 12:00PM and ending at 1:00PM. The streets surrounding the perimeter of the Federal Center will be the course for the 1-mile walk. Applicable streets and the linear path will be used as the course for the 5k walk and the 5k run. The 1-mile walk will begin at the Champion Street Lobby and end at the Washington Street Lobby. Both the 5k run and 5k walk will begin and end at the Washington Street Lobby. |
