The mission of the Recreation & Travel Program is to provide services that improve employee morale, productivity, recruitment and retention, and reduce employee absenteeism through the involvement in positive leisure activities.
The Recreation & Travel Program provides opportunities for employees to participate, either individually, as a family, or as a community, in a variety of experiences that promote wellness, develop personal skills, and improve morale.
Special interest activities allow employees and their families to share common interests in specialized recreation pursuits. Activities include leisure skills classes, bus trips, employee picnics, sporting events, theatre discounts, holiday parties, community parades, and other various special events.
The Recreation & Travel Program offers an array of programs each month. Please view the monthly activity calendar for events, dates, times, and registration deadlines.
The Recreation & Travel Program welcomes people of all abilities. Please let me know at time of registration if special assistance is needed to participate. MWR Special Events Cancellation Policy: Please be aware that MWR reserves the right to cancel trips or events due to lack of participation.
