of the Special Events Program is to provide services that improve employee morale, productivity, recruitment and retention, and reduce employee absenteeism through the involvement in positive leisure activities.
The Special Events Program provides opportunities for employees to participate, either individually, as a family, or as a community, in a variety of experiences that promote wellness, develop personal skills, and improve morale.
Special interest activities allow employees and their families to share common interests in specialized recreation pursuits. Activities include leisure skills classes, bus trips, employee picnics, sporting events, Miller Auditorium discounts, holiday parties, community parades, and other various special events.
The Special Events Program offers an array of programs each month. Please view the monthly activity calendar for events, dates, times, and registration deadlines.
